QualificationsUnder the supervision of the Deputy Superintendent for Instructional Excellence and Equity,Dr. Anna-Marie Cote, and the Executive Director of Secondary Education for High Schools,Walt Griffin, the AP Coordinator (to be recruited) will provide administrative oversight for theproject. In addition, the Director of Curriculum Services, Hugh Harris, will provide expertise inthe guidance of curriculum development within the district. Summaries of these individuals’education and expertise are included below:Anna-Marie Cote, Ed.D. – Dr. Cote has been in the field of education for over 30 years. Elevenof these years have been in district administration for the district. Experience outside ofadministration has been in the area of curriculum development, leading and managing thedistrict’s successful effort to attain unitary status, and as a classroom teacher. Dr. Cote has beeninstrumental in implementing successful student achievement programs in her tenure.Walt Griffin – As the Executive Director of Secondary Education for High Schools, Mr. Griffinbegan his career as a mathematics teacher, and has served 28 years in secondary education. Mr.Griffin’s roles over these years have included classroom teacher, school principal, and districtadministrator. As the Executive Director of Secondary Education for High Schools, Mr. Griffinbrings to the project management team an in-depth knowledge of STEM education, advancedplacement, project management, and administration.Hugh Harris – As the Director of Curriculum Services, Mr. Harris has ample experience leadingcurriculum revisions, to include additions and refresh of magnet and programs of emphasisacross the district.
