4. Permit school principals to sign a pre-approved BBBS Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) designed for individual schools.5. Endeavor to provide opportunities for BBBS to interact with school personnel and toattend appropriate related meetings or community events.6. Assist with connecting BBBS to volunteer mentor resources as able.7. Maintain regular communication with BBBS to ensure that it meets the school system’sexpectations for effective, high quality, program delivery.Section C – Miscellaneous:1. All mentors shall register through the Board’s Dividend School Volunteer Program.2. The Board and BBBS make the following representations:a. The School Board of Seminole County, Florida is duly organized under theConstitution and laws of the State of Florida, and is duly qualified and authorized to carry on thegovernmental functions and operations set forth in this Agreement pursuant to Art. IX, § 4, Fla.Const and §§ 1001.40 and 1001.41(4), Fla. Stat.b. BBBS is a Florida non-profit corporation in good standing and is duly authorizedto enter into and perform the obligations set forth in this agreement and the execution, delivery,and performance hereof by the signatories on behalf of BBBS has been duly authorized by thecharter and by-laws of the corporation.3. The initial term of this agreement shall be from March 1, 2011 through June 30, 2011.This agreement shall automatically renew for 4 successive terms of one year each unlessotherwise terminated or modified as provided for herein.4. BBBS shall, at its sole expense, procure, maintain and keep in force Commercial GeneralLiability Insurance; Workers’ Compensation/Employer’s Liability; and Leader’s Errors andOmissions Insurance. The Board shall be designated as an additional insured under each policy.The terms of coverage, limits of liability and carrier shall be acceptable to Board’s Director ofRisk Management. Said coverage must extend to any participating mentor.5.
