Superintendent’s Recommendation:That The School Board of Seminole County give preliminary approval to the revisions and grantpermission to advertise the 2011-2012 Student Conduct and Discipline Code.2. Background/Analysis:The Student Conduct and Discipline Code is produced annually to define student behavior in SeminoleCounty Public Schools. Each student receives a copy and each educational facility is charged withproviding a review of the Student Conduct and Discipline code with all students.Students are encouraged to share the content with parents so that they are informed of expectantbehavior of students and consequences if policy is violated. Input is required from all segments of theSeminole County Public Schools community and presented to the District Discipline Committee forscrutiny.3.
