Superintendent’s Recommendation:That the School Board of Seminole County approve the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida,Inc. memorandum of understanding.2. Background/Analysis:The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida (BBBS) is a volunteer organization comprised ofcommunity members who are committed to helping school-age children realize their potential and buildtheir futures. The memorandum of understanding provides a written agreement for participation as abusiness partner between Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida, Inc. and the School District ofSeminole County, Florida. BBBS mentors will maintain full member affiliation with Big Brothers BigSisters of America while adhering to the same registration guidelines and procedures of the District’sDividends School Volunteer Mentor Program. BBBS will also provide the Dividends School VolunteerProgram with a copy of each pre-approved BBBS Memorandum of Understanding signed by individualschools.3.
