EDUCATIONAL PLANT FIVE YEAR SURVEY REPORTDistrict:59-SEMINOLE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTSurvey:Survey: 3 - Version: 1Status:Active Pend<strong>in</strong>gDISTRICTWIDE RECOMMENDATIONSThe follow<strong>in</strong>g recommendations are made on a districtwide basis and <strong>in</strong>clude each school or facility whereapplicable.1.2.3.Correct deficiencies relat<strong>in</strong>g to safety to life, health, and sanitation as identified <strong>in</strong> the comprehensiveSafety Inspection Report pursuant to §4.4(5), §4.4(6), §5(1), and §5(13), SREF 2007.Necessary modifications for the physically disabled <strong>in</strong> exist<strong>in</strong>g build<strong>in</strong>gs recommended for cont<strong>in</strong>ued useas provided for <strong>in</strong> §255.21, F.S.Additional, or replacement of, equipment for exist<strong>in</strong>g school build<strong>in</strong>gs recommended for cont<strong>in</strong>ued use asprovided <strong>in</strong> §2.1(9)(e), SREF 2007.4.5.6.7.8.Replacement of roofs at exist<strong>in</strong>g facilities as provided <strong>in</strong> §1.2(55) and §4.1(1)(c), SREF 2007.Provide storage, custodial spaces, and sanitation facilities to serve students, staff, and the general publicas provided <strong>in</strong> §6.1, SREF 2007, and §423.20, FBC.Provide paved auto park<strong>in</strong>g areas pursuant to §5(f)10, SREF 2007, and §423.10.2.7, FBC.Purchase sites for educational and ancillary facilities for future use beyond the projection period of thissurvey pursuant to §1.4, SREF 2007.Retrofit exist<strong>in</strong>g schools for technology, which may <strong>in</strong>clude the creation, or improvement of, cabledistribution po<strong>in</strong>ts (closets <strong>in</strong> telephone parlance). Provide “clean power” and convenient access to video,data, and voice signal wir<strong>in</strong>g, the built-<strong>in</strong> equipment <strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> distribut<strong>in</strong>g video, data, and voice signalspursuant to §5, SREF 2007.
