ft file type<br />

form A form name specifying the type of paper or cards on which<br />

to print or punch an output file. The form name is one to<br />

eight characters in length.<br />

hexloc A 1-digit to 8-digit hexadecimal number that represents a<br />

location in storage. The maximum value is 7FFFFFFF.<br />

Of course, when you substitute a value for hexloc, it can<br />

never be larger than the size of the real or virtual machine<br />

storage to which it refers.<br />

ldev The letter “L” followed by a 1-digit to 4-digit hexadecimal<br />

number that represents a logical device number. Note that<br />

L1, L01, L001, <strong>and</strong> L0001 all represent the same logical<br />

device number.<br />

ldev-ldev A range of logical device numbers. The second logical<br />

device number must be greater than or equal to the first.<br />

For example, L2A0-L2A2 refers to the logical device<br />

numbers L2A0, L2A1, <strong>and</strong> L2A2.<br />

libname library name<br />

libnum The library sequence number that identifies a 3495 Tape<br />

Library Dataserver.<br />

lrecl logical record length<br />

luname A 1-character to 8-character logical unit name that identifies<br />

a SNA terminal or printer. It is the name from the VTAM<br />

definition of the device as a SNA logical unit.<br />

membername library member name<br />

mode mode letter, or mode letter <strong>and</strong> mode number<br />

mmm module name code<br />

name The 1-character to 8-character name of a saved segment.<br />

n... decimal information<br />

nodeid node of a user<br />
