Wee faitlifullie bind and oblidge vs that we, our nyves, bairncs
and servants respective, shall noeways be present at any conventicles and dissordcrlic
mcottings in tynic comeing, bot shall live orderlie in obedience to the law, vnder the
paincs and pennaltics contained in the act of parliament made thereagainst. As also
we bind and oblidge ws that our haill tenncnts and cottars respective, there wyves,
bairnes and servants, shall lykcwayes abstaine and refraiue from the saids conventicles
and other illegal mccttings not anthorizel liy the law, and that they shall live orderlie
iu obedience to the law ; and fardcr, that wc nor they shall not resett, supplie or
comon with forfaulted persones, iuterconmned ministers or vagrant preachers, bot shall
doe our vtcmcst indcavour to apprehend there persones. And in caice our saids
tcnucuts, cottars, or there foresaids shall contravein, we shall taki; and apprehend any
persone or persones guilty therof, and present them to the judge ordinar, that they may
be fyned and imprisoned therefor as is provydcd iu the acts of parliament made thcr-
anent, vthcrwayes wc shall remove them and there famillies from off our grouud, and
if wc shall faillie heiriutill we shall be lyable to such paines and pennalties as the saids
