Johncstoim of that Ilk on the ane part, and the auld teunentis of the landis of Kelheid
on the wther part, in manor, forme, and efl'ect as eftir followes:—that is to sayc, the
said tenncutis is contentit to cum in his will aud make him thaukfuU payment and
dalye seniiee Vi"ith mwlter beir and keyne foulles, and to pay thair cutcres betuixt this
and new yeirs daye nixt. Aud I, the foirsaid Jolme Johuestonne of that Ilk, byndis
and oblcssis me, my airis, to werraud, acquyet aud defend all tlie fuirsaidis tenncutis
that enteris vrith me and pajns thair dewteis and seruice as is foirsaid at all haudis
haifaud eutres, indureing the lyftrent of Jene Johuistoun, my syster, being lyftreuter
