6 Operation
For the roller cleaner, the cleaning effect is mainly achieved by the fact that the rollers
pull dirt and trimmings off in a downward direction.
In addition, a swiveling beet brake (1) is mounted. Braking bars (2), which are mounted
to the frame of the roller cleaner, pile up the beets. Due to this action, the beets
additionally rub against each other and the cleaning effect is increased.
Insertion of the braking bars into the beet flow and therefore the intensity of recleaning
may be set at the operating section.
For this purpose, set the rotating selector switch to position 7.
You change the braking effect of the beet brake by pressing the buttons / :
button = The beet flow is braked more (more intense cleaning).
button = The beet flow braked less (gentler cleaning).
