Maintenance and Care
For refilling hydraulic fluid, unscrew the black filler cover (2) (filler and bleed head) from
the cover of the fluid tank.
You may hear a "hissing sound" when you open the hydraulic fluid filler cover. This
sound is normal.
The filling and bleed filter ensures the required air equalization with fluctuating fluid level
(e.g. owing to the fluid temperature). Replace it when it is soiled, but at the latest every 2
years (ROPA Item No.: 270389).
7.3.1.1 Hydraulic fluid change
The hydraulic fluid must be changed annually – best shortly before start of the season.
For this purpose, provide a barrel of sufficient size. Use the fluid drain hose supplied for
changing the hydraulic fluid. Screw the fluid drain hose onto the valve (4) in the base of the
hydraulic fluid tank. The valve opens and the old fluid drains off.
