Operation
– ROPA machines are fitted with two generators with a capacity of 100A each.
– If the engine is to be operated using biodiesel as fuel, then exclusively the following
quality may be used:
FAME (= fatty acid methyl ester) as per DIN EN 14214.
This also applies to engines equipped with a BlueTec ® exhaust after-treatment system.
When operating using biodiesel fuel, then at least two complete tank fillings of pure,
unblended diesel fuel (no additives) must be used up immediately before terminating the
harvesting season. If biodiesel remains in the fuel lines, respectively, injectors during the
standstill time, then this may lead to far-reaching damage to the complete fuel system
and the engine.
– Please keep confirmations of maintenance work from the Mercedes Benz customer
service with the enclosed original documentation from Mercedes Benz.
The Mercedes-Benz operating manual is absolutely binding; an original copy has been
supplied with the machine.
