If euro-Maus4 is to be immobilized for a period of one to four weeks, always switch off
the main battery switch. In addition,withdraw fuse F03 (1) in the central electrical system
since the timer of the independent heating system is supplied with current from the
batteries even if the main battery switch is switched off.

If euro-Maus4 is to be immobilized for a period of more than four weeks, always perform
the following additional work:
– Wash the machine thoroughly. Avoid directly spraying bearings and bearing rollers
when doing this.
– Drain off condensation at the five compressed air reservoirs.
– Lubricate all lubricating points on the machine.
– Allow the central lubrication system to run for at least 30 minutes with the drive
switched on.
– Spray the complete machine with corrosion protection oil. Ensure that no oil or
grease touches the tires.
– Grease all piston rods and the collars of the hydraulic cylinders.
– Park the machine in a dry place, protected from weather – if possible in a closed
room or hangar.
– Remove the batteries. The batteries should be stored cool and dry, but protected
against subzero temperatures. Before storing, check the electrolyte level and add
distilled water if necessary. Completely charge the batteries before storage. During
storage, check the battery voltage monthly and recharge the batteries if necessary.
Grease the battery terminals using a special terminal grease.
