Chapter 6
Operation
6.13.24 Loading mode END
In order to save fuel, when the machine approaches the pile end, it makes sense to
reduce speeds throughout the entire beet flow since the pile pickup will generally only
convey small quantities of beets onto the pickup. In addition, the weighing results are
more accurate when truck conveyor works with a certain minimum fullness. To do so,
open the menu "Special functions", scroll to the line "LOADING MODE" and change the
selection from "LOAD" (default) to "END". This selection sets the speeds of all drives to
the values that you selected yourself during your last usage of the "END" mode.
To restore the default setting "LOAD", navigate to the menu "Special functions", scroll to
the line "LOADING MODE" and change the selection from "END" to "LOAD".
6.14 Pile pickup/picking up residual beets
The pile pickup can be used to clear the end of a beet pile to the outsides of the pickup.
The residual beet pickup (plastic part) is fitted to the pile pickup. It is used to pull the last
beets of a pile into the pickup. The pile pickup is controlled using the left joystick.
