6 Operation
Reweigh these loads externally on the calibrated scale of the recipient and add the
results determined for these truckloads.
As soon as the results of the external weighings are available, select once again the
menu "Calibration". Re-enter both weights here.
After completing this calibration procedure, check the accuracy of the scales by
means of one further loading process as already described. If the results of this
verification are satisfactory, then the calibration is completed.
If the desired scale accuracy is still not achieved, repeat the calibration (always
using the sum resulting from at least five loads) as already described.
6.25.4.4 Running operation of the scales
Observe the instructions described on page 238.
Regularly perform a zero-balancing.
Regularly check the accuracy of the scales. When doing so, compare the weight of
a load displayed on the scales with a weight obtained on externally calibrated scales
of the recipient. In the case of large deviations, the scales of the euro-Maus4 must
be immediately recalibrated.
Always keep the rollers of the weighing cells free of soiling.
Note! Scale accuracy depends on the position of the meticulousness of the user. A
regularly performed zeroing procedure, careful calibration and keeping to a minimum
build-up of soiling on the belt positively affect scale accuracy.
