6.24 Immobilizing up to one week – Switch off all electrical loads. – Remove the ignition key. – Leave the machine and lock the driver's cab. 233 6 Operation Park euro-Maus4 so that nobody is impaired or endangered. Also make sure of sufficient safety distance to any overhead power lines. – Engage the parking brake. – Raise the pickup all the way up. – Shut off the engine. – Fasten the safety chains (2) to the bolt end of the central pickup section and secure these with the safety hooks (1). Note! Due to lowering pressure in the hydraulic system, the pickup may come down during longer standstill periods and severely damage the driver's cabin. Therefore, when parking the machine, always fasten the safety chains (2) to the bolts on the left and right of the pickup central section. – Do NOT switch off the main battery switch so that the independent heating system remains operational. – Secure the machine against rolling away using the chocks. Note! If needed, consider additional protection for children. 1 2 Chapter 6 Operation
