– Immediately screw on the closure plug again when the oil escapes free of bubbles
and tighten it to a torque of 16 Nm.
If the oil does not escape within 15 seconds, screw in the closure plug again and call
servicing.
– Wait at least 10 minutes and then recheck the oil level as described above.
– Add oil if necessary.
7.2.2 Pump distributor gear (PVG) oil cooler
– Check the gear oil cooler (6) of the pump distributor gear every day for soiling.
– Clean it if necessary either with compressed air or with the spray jet of a water hose.
– On no account may you use a high-pressure cleaner for this.

(6) Gear oil cooler
Danger! The pressure reservoirs on the hydraulic system are permanently under high
internal pressure even if the remaining hydraulic system is already depressurized. Work
on the pressure reservoirs may only be performed by specially trained persons familiar
with handling pressure reservoirs. The system must first be depressurized beforehand
for all work on the hydraulic system or on the pressure reservoirs. Work on the hydraulic
system may only be performed by persons who have been instructed about the specific
risks and hazards of working on hydraulic systems.
