6 Operation
Attention! The response pressure for the safety relief valve (9) has been factory-preset
to 6 bar. The setting for this safety component may in no case be changed since,
otherwise, this may lead to severe injuries or property damage. When replacing it, only
an equivalent-quality spare part that is obtained directly from ROPA may be installed.

Whenever filling up, check the strainer filter in the filter bowl (6) for dirt and clean the
strainer if needed.
To open the filter, first close the ball cock 2 , then the ball cock 4 . Then, open ball
cock 3 so that the pressure can escape. Only unscrew the filter bowl when the ball
cocks are closed. If the strainer filter is damaged, you can obtain a new strainer filter
under the item number 208032.
