Filling the engine with oil
– Fill with fresh engine oil via the oil filler neck(1).
Filling capacity approx. 23-28 liters (Min-Max mark).

The valve (3) opens as soon as you have screwed the supplied oil drain hose onto the
valve.
When the old oil has completely drained, reclose the oil drain valve by unscrewing the oil
drain hose from the valve (3).
Renewing the oil filter element
– Unscrew the oil filter with a ratchet and hexagon socket wrench socket, width across
flats 36 mm.
– When the oil has drained from the oil filter bowl, pull out the oil filter cover including
the oil filter cartridge.
– Release the oil filter element by pressing the side of the lower edge and dispose of it
in line with environmental regulations.
– Renew the sealing ring on the screw-on cover. Wet the new gasket using engine oil
before inserting it.
– Insert the new oil filter element in the oil filter cover and fit it into the cover by
pressing its sides together lightly.
– Place the oil filter cover including oil filter element onto the oil filter bowl and screw
on tightly (tightening torque 25 Nm).
– Then start the engine from the driver's seat and let it idle for approx. one minute.
Then switch off the engine.
Around 5 minutes, after the engine was shut off, check the oil level using the oil
dipstick (2). When the oil has collected in the oil sump, the oil level should be in the
middle between the Min. and Max . mark on the oil dipstick. Do not add too much
engine oil.
– Check engine and oil filter for leaks (visual inspection).
