6.25 Scales (optional)
The unit is an electronic conveyor belt scales. The unit uses highly sensitive electronic
weighing cells to weigh the loads and their dirt masses – herein generally called sugar
beets – that are conveyed by belt to the load-receiving transportation vehicle. The
accuracy of each individual weighing process is primarily affected by correct operation
of the scales and is no longer under the influence of the manufacturer.

In addition to correct operation, the following factors also decisively affect
scales accuracy:
– ground condition,
– degree of soiling of the sugar beets,
– degree of soiling of the scales rollers and the rollers located immediately in front of
and after the scales rollers,
– the angle of inclination of the truck conveyor articulation.
