Warning! Risk of poisoning and risk of damage to the skin. Corrosion protection<br />

agent / antifreeze contain hazardous materials. If swallowed, there is an acute risk<br />

of poisoning. If the substance comes in contact with the skin, inflammation or caustic<br />

burns may occur. Never fill corrosion protection agents / antifreeze into drinking vessels<br />

or beverage bottles. Always store these agents so that children do not have access to<br />

these agents.<br />

At all events, comply with the safety information of the manufacturer of these agents.<br />

Risk of damage to the environment. Corrosion protection agents / antifreeze are<br />

hazardous for the environment. When handling these materials, always ensure that the<br />

corrosion protection agents / antifreeze do not enter the environment, but are disposed<br />

of in a manner compatible with the environment.<br />

Always ensure that there is sufficient antifreeze and only use corrosion protection agents<br />

/ antifreeze expressly approved in Mercedes-Benz– Works Standards 325.0 or<br />

326.0. (see Page 401)<br />

If the liquid level in the coolant expansion tank is too low, the warning symbol is<br />

displayed on the color terminal.<br />

The coolant expansion tank with the filler neck for coolant is located on the boarding<br />

platform behind the hydraulic fluid tank.<br />
