Close button behavior
Windows Mobile and CE only: Here you can specify what TextMaker should do
when you tap on the close button in the top right corner of the program window.
The choices are as follows:
Close application: Closes the program window and exits the application.
Close active document: Closes only the currently active document window.
Minimize application: Closes the program window, but keeps the program
running in the background.
Advantage: If you choose this option, starting TextMaker again later will
consume less time.
Disadvantage: While TextMaker is minimized, it still occupies a portion of your
device’s program memory.
Hint: To actually exit TextMaker, use the File > Exit command instead of the
close button.
Use large menus
Windows Mobile and CE only: If this option is enabled, menus are displayed a
bit larger than usual. On devices that are operated with the fingers (rather than with
a stylus), activating this option makes it easier to tap on menu entries.
Shorter tap and hold delay
Windows Mobile only: If this option is enabled, the delay before the appearance
of a context menu is shortened, when you press and hold the stylus (on an object,
for example).
Preferences, Fonts property sheet
Note: This property sheet is available only in the Windows version of Text-
Maker.
The Fonts property sheet in the Tools > Options dialog allows you to specify
which fonts to display in font lists (e.g. in the dialog of the Format > Character
command).
