8.11 <strong>AT</strong>^SALS Alternate Line Service<br />

The <strong>AT</strong>^SALS command is designed to support Alternate Line Service. This allows the<br />

subscriber to use two voice numbers on the same SIM card (service requires a dual line<br />

SIM card).<br />

The write command enables or disables the presentation of and specifies the<br />

used <strong>for</strong> outgoing calls. The read command returns the presentation mode of<br />

and the currently selected .<br />

Controls the presentation mode of the URC “^SALS” which indicates the line number used by an incoming call:<br />

0 Disables indication of the called line. Default.<br />

1 Enables indication of the called line<br />

Selects the line to be used <strong>for</strong> outgoing calls.<br />

1 ALS Line 1. Default.<br />

2 ALS Line 2<br />

Unsolicited Result Code:<br />

If switched on with =1:<br />

^SALS: <br />

Indicates the line used by an incoming call. The setting is global <strong>for</strong> the ME; it is also non-volatile.<br />

Note:<br />

If a non ALS SIM is inserted, the will be reset to line 1 as well.<br />

Line 1 has been selected <strong>for</strong> outgoing calls. “^SALS” URC is enabled.<br />

RING You receive a notification that you have an incoming call on line 2.<br />

8.12 <strong>AT</strong>^SHOM Display Homezone<br />

Description:<br />

The <strong>AT</strong>^SHOM returns the homezone state. The result is valid only, if network registration<br />

state is 1 (registered) (see <strong>AT</strong>+CREG).<br />

The feature is available only <strong>for</strong> supported network operators (Viag, One2One, Orange<br />

and LCI) and requires a suitable SIM card. If the homezone feature is not supported by<br />

the network operator or SIM card, result is always 0.<br />
