Every time you back up a file, the file is assigned amanagement class. The management class used is either a default selected foryou, or one that you assign to the file using an include option in theinclude-exclude options list. Select Utilities → View Policy Information from thebackup-archive client or Web client GUI to view the backup policies defined bythe Tivoli Storage Manager server for your client node. Select Edit → ClientPreferences from the backup-archive client or Web client GUI <strong>and</strong> select theInclude-Exclude tab in the Preferences editor to display your include-excludelist.To modify specific backup options, click the Options button. For example, in thefollowing option Tivoli Storage Manager processes all local drives except for the c:drive <strong>and</strong> systemobject domain:domain ALL-LOCAL -c: -systemobjectUsing the backup-archive client comm<strong>and</strong> line interface, you can specify drives toinclude in addition to your default domain.
