SchedlogretentionRelated informationSee “Errorlogname” on page 363 for more information on placement of thedsmsched.log file.||The schedlogretention option specifies the number of days to keep entries in theschedule log <strong>and</strong> the Web client log, <strong>and</strong> whether to save the pruned entries.The schedule log is pruned during the initial start of scheduler <strong>and</strong> after ascheduled event completes.|The Web client log is pruned during the initial start of scheduler.If you change from schedlogretention to schedlogmax, all records in the existinglog are copied to the pruned log dsmsched.pru, the existing log is emptied, <strong>and</strong>logging begins under the new log wrapping criteria.If you change from schedlogmax to schedlogretention, all existing log entries areretained <strong>and</strong> the log is pruned using the new schedlogretention criteria.Restriction: You cannot specify a non-zero schedlogmax value <strong>and</strong> enableschedlogretention.Supported ClientsThis option is valid for all clients.Options FilePlace this option in the client options file (dsm.opt).
