include.subfileIncludes files for adaptive subfile backup processing. This option does notapply to archive processing. This option is valid for all Windows clients.include.systemobjectAssigns management classes for backup of Windows XP system objects. Bydefault, Tivoli Storage Manager binds all system objects to the defaultmanagement class. You cannot use this option to bind individual system objectcomponents to a different management class. You cannot use this option toinclude or exclude a system object from processing. This option is valid forWindows XP only.Note: Other include-exclude statements do not affect system object processing.It is unnecessary to explicitly include the Windows Registry staging directoryinclude c:\adsm.sys\...\* for backup, to ensure that the Windows Registry isbacked up properly. If you accidentally exclude a directory that is critical to asystem object backup, the system object backup is not affected.include.systemstateAssigns management classes for backup of the system state. The default is tobind the system state object to the default management class.During system state backup, a progressive incremental backup is used for theSystem Writer files in the system state. If you want to run a full backup of allsystem state data, you can specify include.systemstate mc_name in the clientoptions file (dsm.opt), where mc_name is the name of the management classwith copy group mode absolute.ParameterspatternSpecifies the objects to include for backup or archive processing or to assign aspecific management class.Note: For NAS file systems: You must prefix the NAS node name to the filespecification to specify the file server to which the include statement applies. Ifyou do not specify a NAS node name, the file system identified refers to theNAS node name specified in the client options file (dsm.opt) or on thecomm<strong>and</strong> line.If the pattern begins with a single or double quotation mark, or contains anyembedded blanks or equal signs, you must surround the value in either single(') or double (") quotation marks. The opening <strong>and</strong> closing quotation marksmust be the same type of quotation marks.For the include.image option, the pattern is the name of a file system or rawlogical volume.Note: When using include.systemobject <strong>and</strong> include.systemstate the only validpattern is ALL (all types of system objects <strong>and</strong> system state objects). By default,Tivoli Storage Manager binds all objects to the default management class.optional_parametermgmtclassnameSpecifies the name of the management class to assign to the objects.
