It is not valid in interactivemode.VmbackdirUse the vmbackdir option with the backup VM comm<strong>and</strong> to specify the locationof the VMware virtual machine data used to export the full VM files. The guestdata is then exported to the Tivoli Storage Manager server. The vmbackdir optionis used with full VM backups.Supported ClientsThe Vmbackdir option is only valid if you are storing the VMware guests usingthe VMware Consolidated Backup.The directory specified by this option must be located on a drive that containssufficient free space to, at a minimum, store the virtual disk files for the largestvirtual machine to be processed.Important: The vmbackdir option is ignored for file-level VM backups. Ensure thatyou have sufficient free space to process backups.This option is valid for Windows clients that are configured as an off-host backupof VMware virtual machine data proxy.
