Using the Microsoft Cluster Administrator utility or VCS Configuration Editor,move group-a to node-2. Fromnode-2, issue the same comm<strong>and</strong>s above to installthe services on node-2 <strong>and</strong> generate a password file. Repeat this procedure for eachcluster group.Step 4: Create a network name <strong>and</strong> IP address resource:Add a network name <strong>and</strong> IP address resource for each group that is managed bythe client, using the Microsoft Cluster Administrator or VCS Configuration Editor.MSCS:You must use the Microsoft Cluster Administrator utility to add an IP addressresource to each cluster group managed by Tivoli Storage Manager.Follow these steps to add an IP address resource:1. Select the group-a folder under the MSCS-Cluster\Groups folder <strong>and</strong> select File–> New–> Resource from the dropdown menu.2. In the New Resource dialog, enter a unique name in the Name field. Forexample: IP address for GROUP-A. Enter a description in the Description field.Change resource type to IP address in the Resource Type field. Enter the groupname in the Group field. Press Enter.3. In the Possible Owner dialog, ensure that all cluster nodes appear as possibleowners. Press Enter.4. In the Dependencies dialog add all physical disk resources as ResourceDependencies. Press Enter.5. In the TCP/IP Address dialog, enter appropriate values for address,subnetmask, <strong>and</strong> network. Press Enter.6. Select the new resource from the Microsoft Cluster Administrator utility, <strong>and</strong>from the dropdown menu click File <strong>and</strong> then Bring Online.You must use the Microsoft Cluster Administrator utility to add a network nameto each cluster group managed by Tivoli Storage Manager.Follow these steps to add a network name:1.
