Supported ClientsUse this option to keep one or more of your most recent backups on the backupproxy, which allows for faster restore operations that do not require pulling thebackup files from the Tivoli Storage Manager Server.The full VM backup staging directory is BACKUP CURRENT. This directory iswhere VMware exports the full VM files, <strong>and</strong> where Tivoli Storage Managerperforms the backup. When the backup is complete, this directory is either deleted,or if you have specified the vmbacknodelete option, this directory is renamed witha date <strong>and</strong> time stamp of the full VM backup.For example:C:\mnt\tsmvmbackup\fullvm\myVMname\BACKUP_DATE_yyyy_mm_dd[hh_mm_ss]\where vmbackdir=c:\mnt\tsmvmbackup <strong>and</strong> myVMname is the name of your vmwareguest.Important: If you use the vmbacknodelete option, delete saved backup copies toensure that there is sufficient free space available for processing future backups.This option is valid for Windows clients that are configured as a proxy backupserver of a VMware virtual machine. You can use this option with VCB full VMbackups.
