Restore AdobjectsTivoli Storage Manager is restricted to restoring sparse files that are less then 4gigabytes in size.The following issues apply if more data is restored than the Microsoft disk quotaallows:vvIf the user performing the restore has a disk quota (e.g., belongs to the BackupOperator Group), Tivoli Storage Manager will not restore any data that exceedsthe disk quota of the restore user <strong>and</strong> will display a "Disk Full" message.If the user performing the restore does not have a disk quota (e.g., belongs tothe Administrator Group), Tivoli Storage Manager will restore all data <strong>and</strong>transfer ownership of those files which exceed the disk quota of the originalowner to the user performing the restore (in this case, the Administrator).Use the restore adobjects comm<strong>and</strong> to restore individual Active Directory objectsfrom the local Deleted Objects container.On Windows Server 2008 clients, individual Active Directory objects can also berestored from full system-state backups on the Tivoli Storage Manager server.Supported ClientsThis comm<strong>and</strong> is valid for Windows Server 2003 <strong>and</strong> Windows Server 2008 clients.Syntax►►Restore ADOBJectssourcepathspecoptions►◄ParameterssourcepathspecSpecifies the Active Directory object or container to restore. If a container isspecified, its contents are also restored. You can either specify the fulldistinguished name of an object or a container, or just the name attribute ('cn'or 'ou'), where the wildcard might be used.
