Use the Tivoli Storage Manager LVSA to provideopen file support instead of using the snapshotroot option in conjunction withanother snapshot provider.Important: Use the snapshotroot option with caution in conjunction with theTivoli Storage Manager journal-based backup feature. Since there is nocoordination between the Tivoli Storage Manager journal and thevendor-acquired snapshot provider, unwanted behavior can occur with journalnotifications received after the snapshot occurs. For example, files might not bebacked up, or they might be backed up redundantly to the Tivoli StorageManager server.
