If the Web client is already set up, follow these steps:1. Click Start.2. Click Control Panel → Administrative Tools → Services.3. Select the scheduler service from the list of Windows services.4. Click the Log On tab.5. Click This Account in the Login As section.6. Enter an administrative account, or click Browse to locate the domain account.7. Enter the password for the domain account.8. Click OK <strong>and</strong> then click Start.Related reference“Restore Adobjects” on page 620Authorizing another user to restore or retrieve your filesYou can authorize a user on another node to restore your backup versions orretrieve your archive copies. In this way, you can share files with other people orwith other workstations that you use with a different node name.You can also authorize other nodes to access the automated system recovery (ASR)file space.Another node can be used to create the ASR diskette so that the workstation canbe recovered using ASR <strong>and</strong> Tivoli Storage Manager. Use the other node if aproblem occurs with the workstation <strong>and</strong> the ASR diskette of the workstation isnot available.To authorize another node to restore or retrieve your files:1. Click Utilities → Node Access List from the main window.2. In the Node Access List window, click the Add button.3. In the Add Access Rule window, select an item in the Permit Access field tospecify the type of data that the other user can access. You can select eitherBacked up Objects or Archived Objects.4. Type the node name of the user in the Grant Access to Node field. Type thenode name of the host workstation of the user in the Grant Access to Nodefield.5. Type the user ID on the host workstation in the User field.6. In the Filespace <strong>and</strong> Directory field, select the file space <strong>and</strong> the directorythat the user can access. You can select one file space <strong>and</strong> one directory at atime. If you want to give the user access to another file space or directory, youmust create another access rule.7. If you want to limit the user to specific files in the directory, type the name orpattern of the files on the server that the other user can access in the Filenamefield. You can make only one entry in the Filename field. It can either be asingle file name or a pattern that matches one or more files. You can use awildcard character as part of the pattern. Your entry must match files thathave been stored on the server.8. If you want to give access to all files that match the file name specificationwithin the selected directory including its subdirectories, click Includesubdirectories.9. Click OK to save the access rule <strong>and</strong> close the Add Access Rule window.Chapter 5. Restoring your data 199
