able to receive thetherpay services that she needs to reach
her full potential. It is unjust to cut these services for so
many children and families who depend on them.
Additionally, as a pediatric speech-language pathologist, I
have witnessed firsthand the positive impact that
intervention services are for this population of children.
Programs that funded these services have already been
cut in Arizona, and our kids are suffering as a result. Don't
let the same thing happen in California.
