the financial impact of meeting my child's medical needs.
Even though we are relatively well off, those costs made a
heavy impact on our budget. A family trying to make it on
two minimum wage jobs would just not be able to make it.
What we really should have is a single payer medical
system for every Californian, but until we get that we have
got to help the families who are looking after kids with
special needs.
