By cutting these services and changing the eligibility requirements will be detrimental to thousands. Please do not cut the CCS medical therapy program in any way--our children are our future! 399. Rebecca Young Redwood City, CA In this economy the proposed financial qualifications for these services would deny critical therapy to countless children whose families could never afford these services. A family income of just over $40,000 in the Bay Area would leave nothing for therapy. We know all too well that early intervention for children is critical. We should not be restricting access to these life-saving therapies. 400. Having only families with income under $40,000 qualify is a joke. Families who make even $100,000 a year would be giving up a significant portion of their income to pay for therapy services that are crucial to their child. 401.
