7,077. Dee Helsel Simi Valley, CA My friend's daughter has benefited from this service for
many years. She went to not being able to walk at all to
being physically well and almost as flexible as normal
children. Please rethink this cut and continue this service.
My friend's medical coverage would have never covered
what was provided. It was critical for this child and made a
world of difference.
Upland, CA Children with special needs have parents who cannot
afford physical therapy on their own especially with the
present high cost of renting, gas, and basic necessities.
Therapy is not cheap.
7,091. Ann Carr San Francisco, CA This idea really erodes the original intention of the program
which was to provide needed services for children without
regard to their financial status--so that families will not
need to weigh finances into the picture to get the needed
services. This is not a good idea.
7,092. Laurel Price Titusville, FL This is important to me because my nephews have needed
these services. I lived in CA most of my life. These
services are so needed by so many.
7,093. Kathleen Perry Long Beach, CA I have kids
7,096. Aly Archuleta San Jose, CA My brother and my Godson have Cerebral Palsy and other
setbacks. Physical Therapy has been very important to
their development and health over the years. My brother is
older now, but my Godson needs his. Please don't cut their
budget. The help they receive fro therapy is invaluable.
7,097. Karen Crowley Buda, TX My son, who has cerebral palsy with developmental
delays, received therapy services through the Vista MTU
for years, and has benefited tremendously from it. Even
though we recently moved to Texas, I would hate to see
others miss out on this program
