run, cost more $ to correct than the prevention. This is
short-term thinking by the State of California. Within the
next 10 years, the resultant care required for these children
will cost the State billions.

special needs child. I do not know where his progress
would be without the Medical Therapy Program. His
progress may be small and slow going but I know that the
program helps tremendously. Especially when anything
that has "special needs" attached to it is twice as
expensive if not more. Why should the children suffer just
because of their special needs label. Please, from a parent
with a special child, do not cut their budget...the program
does a world of wonders for the children.
