on how to meet these students needs. Additionally, school
districts would need to employ more OTs and PTs to
address the needs of students who are currently being
seen in CCS. SInce school OTs are also being paid by the
state, there would be no cost savings. Additionally,
students currently receiving CCS services have
neuro-motor needs that benefit from intervention in a clinic
environment. School Districts would not be able to meet
this need.

services on a daily basis. For every service that another
agency does NOT provide, the school district i usually
considered the agency of last resort . Requests for School
Duistricts to fill in gaps have become crushing blows to the
service of education for which schools were built.

In the absense of services, arents will request them from
school districts as educationally necessary services. This
cut only shifts services and expenses to school districts
without any additional revenue. School Districts are facing
revenue cuts also. Keep this service with the correct public
agency-CCS.
