pay out of pocket for the amount of therapy required to see
improved mobility or self care.

how well the stronger members of that society care for the
aged and infirmed members of that society. Parents of
children with special needs bear an incredible load, both
emotionally and financially. The comprehensive services
offered by OT and PT at the various MTU's, throughout the
CCS system, offer care that is not available through any
other medical facilities in our state. This is a worthy cause,
one that deserves our tax dollars. Of significance is the
reality that if these services are cut in the short run, the
cost to our society will be greater in the long run, as these
children mature into adulthood, with physical conditions
that have not had proper intervention during their formative
years.
