please do not cut any funding to these programs!

once in their shoes. Life is hard as it is with difficulties
these kids face every day of their lives. Please refocus
your cuts on services that don't affect the children or the

6,349. Jamie Lankes San Diego, CA I think that for families that would not meet the financial
criteria to receive MTP services they would have difficulty
in finding a place that could provide equivalent services
and could potentially cost families thousands of dollars per
year. I also think that some families that currently have
private health insurance for their child may choose to
"institutionally deem" their child to receive therapy services
and the state may ultimately pay more money as the family
would stop using private insurance to pay for other medical
services and equipment.

neuromuscular disabilities. The proposed cuts would
create an even greater disparity between those that need
the services and those that are receiving them. Additionally
the proposed cuts would trim less than one tenth of 1%
from the budget, but would negatively impact thousands of
children.
