20 years, I am extremely concerned at how this would
affect the children of the families who would no longer
qualify. A family of four making $40,000 is barely surviving
in many parts of California, even if they didn't have the
added expenses incurred when dealing with a child with a
significant physical disability. Additionally, these families
are also probably having to deal with more medical and
other appointments, possibly more days home sick from
school, things that may make job security at the lower
levels of the ladder more tenous...
