needs <strong>the</strong>se programs <strong>to</strong> exist ...<br />

691. Sandra Janotta Camarillo, CA<br />

692. Melissa Elejalde Mounta<strong>in</strong> House, CA It's unfair <strong>to</strong> th<strong>in</strong>k that <strong>the</strong>se kids don't need this help when<br />

everyone knows how expensive and stressful it is for a<br />

family <strong>to</strong> afford medical <strong>the</strong>rapy. It's hard <strong>to</strong> have 2 work<strong>in</strong>g<br />

p<strong>are</strong>nts when <strong>the</strong>y have a child with <strong>the</strong>se needs and most<br />

American families need 2 work<strong>in</strong>gs p<strong>are</strong>nts <strong>to</strong> afford<br />

<strong>the</strong>rapy<br />

694. tamara fisher oakland, CA<br />

695. Mary Rose<br />

Azzopardi<br />

Pleasant Hill, CA All children should have <strong>the</strong>ir medical and rehabilitaion, PT<br />

and OT needs met regardless of <strong>the</strong>ir f<strong>in</strong>ancial status.<br />

696. Tim O'Hara Santa Clara, CA Generally <strong>the</strong> children that benefit from <strong>the</strong> MTP <strong>are</strong><br />

unable <strong>to</strong> obta<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>se crucial services elsewhere and it<br />

would be a huge mistake <strong>to</strong> decrease or limit <strong>the</strong> services<br />

for <strong>the</strong>se kids. To many o<strong>the</strong>r <strong>are</strong>as <strong>to</strong> make cuts from.<br />

Need <strong>to</strong> limit services <strong>to</strong> able bodied adults before you<br />

impact <strong>the</strong> needs of <strong>the</strong>se kids.<br />

697. Nancy Collier Antioch, CA I work <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> medical field, need you ask? Many friends<br />

whose children need this.<br />

698. Sharon Bonenfant Moreno Valley, CA<br />

699. Marcus Dusk<strong>in</strong> San Francisco, CA I am an on-call employee of CCS who feels that <strong>the</strong><br />

services provided <strong>to</strong> families is very important.<br />

700. Emil Ra<strong>in</strong>er Toron<strong>to</strong>, Canada<br />

701. Anne <strong>We</strong>lls Santa Barbara, CA The CCS Medical Therapy Unit is <strong>the</strong> primary source of<br />

physical and occupational <strong>the</strong>rapy for my daughter. Our<br />

<strong>in</strong>surance, An<strong>the</strong>m Blue Cross, does not cover <strong>the</strong>se<br />

services. While my husband and I work full time, we cannot<br />

afford <strong>to</strong> pay out of pocket for <strong>the</strong>se services. <strong>We</strong> <strong>are</strong> tax<br />

pay<strong>in</strong>g US citizens and have a right <strong>to</strong> services that <strong>are</strong><br />

provided for free <strong>to</strong> non-US citizens and low <strong>to</strong> no-tax<br />

pay<strong>in</strong>g citizens. CCS MTU is efficient and effective. It's <strong>the</strong><br />

reason that our daughter is walk<strong>in</strong>g. Brown is look<strong>in</strong>g <strong>to</strong> fix<br />

someth<strong>in</strong>g that is not broken. S<strong>to</strong>p pav<strong>in</strong>g so many streets<br />

via "stimulus" at <strong>the</strong> expense of <strong>the</strong> protection and<br />

education of our youth.<br />

702. Angelica Butler Goleta, CA As a stay at home mom of tw<strong>in</strong>s with special needs CCS<br />

MTU is <strong>the</strong> only option around that can give my children<br />

<strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>rapy <strong>the</strong>y need. I don't believe that families of<br />

special needs children should be worried about <strong>the</strong> cost of<br />

<strong>the</strong>rapy. The proposed <strong>in</strong>come requirements have noth<strong>in</strong>g<br />

<strong>to</strong> do with <strong>the</strong> needs of <strong>the</strong> children and <strong>in</strong> essence neglect<br />

those children that desperately need that extra attention<br />

and c<strong>are</strong>.<br />
