This is so very important <strong>to</strong> me because I know numbers of<br />

children with medical <strong>the</strong>rapy needs that MUST have<br />

<strong>the</strong>rapy <strong>in</strong> order <strong>to</strong> progress/heal, etc. These services <strong>are</strong><br />

th<strong>in</strong>gs <strong>the</strong>ir p<strong>are</strong>nts cannot afford. Many of my friends have<br />

children who <strong>are</strong> regularly receiv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong>se services and<br />

<strong>the</strong>y <strong>are</strong> a huge part of help<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong>se children experience<br />

as many th<strong>in</strong>gs <strong>in</strong> life as <strong>the</strong>y possibly can. Please do NOT<br />

cut <strong>the</strong>se services!!!!<br />

1,121. Michelle Boyd San Jose, CA <strong>We</strong> <strong>are</strong> deluded <strong>in</strong><strong>to</strong> believ<strong>in</strong>g that "hand outs" and<br />

"entitlement programs" <strong>are</strong> for <strong>the</strong> lazy middle-class. They<br />

<strong>are</strong> for people who <strong>are</strong>, for reasons out of <strong>the</strong>ir own<br />

control, <strong>in</strong> social positions which greatly negatively effect<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir abilities <strong>to</strong> use potential which might ga<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>m<br />

access <strong>to</strong> rights and privileges that people who fit with<strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> structure of what is considered normal take for granted.<br />

1,128. Theodore Hax Woodside, CA My niece works <strong>in</strong> physical <strong>the</strong>rapy for under-privileged<br />

kids. My will<strong>in</strong>gness <strong>to</strong> pay more taxes for support for<br />

<strong>the</strong>se children is positive. To not help <strong>the</strong>se deserv<strong>in</strong>g kids<br />

speaks poorly of our society.<br />
