to make their lives the best they can be. My daughter had
PT thru California Children Services for several years to
get her to walk at age 5 1/2. We could have never afforded
PT on top of all the other medical expenses with both
parents working. If not for this program, my daughter would
probably be in a wheel chair for the rest of her life.
Now,even with her CP, she is walking without assistance!
The state needs to provide these services so our children
are able to function at the highest level possible which will
end up costing the state less in care in the long term.

The fact of the matter is, when these kids get the help they
need, they are less likely to need disability. When they get
help they are more likely to become self-sufficient and
such!
