determine eligibility. For those families who meet this
criteria, there may be other assistance available. However,
for the families that are stuck in the "middle-class" who do
not qualify for assistance but can barely afford to live in the
Bay Area, paying for Special Needs services out-of-pocket
would quickly push them into insurmountable debt. Please
use a needs-based criteria for prioritizing services. Thank

to families struggling with the enormous responsibility of
caring for children with special needs. They need their OT
and PT therapy. Unless you have lived with a neurological
disability you don't understand the struggle it is just to
make it through a day and function in a society that doesn't
understand the challenges. Please do not cut services to
these children and their families. Help them to thrive. It's
just the right thing to do. Thank you.

parent would not have been able to afford the services not
would he functionally advanced to the degree he has. It's a
crime to entertain make this program income driven and
eliminate children the opportunity for the service.
