of kids who receive CCS services and equipment. Parents
with kids who have special needs are already struggling.
They do not need any additional burdens to bear. Families
with special needs have a much higher divorce rate than
the average population - any additional financial burdens
could put many families at a higher risk for divorce. I am
sure there are many other places the money can be
"found". Please DO NOT take money from these families!

However, the $40,000 figure seems very low and it is
unrealistic to expect a family at that income level to be able
to provide these services on their own.

My daughter has spina bifida and has benefited from CCS
for about two and a half years. Their therapy has been
crucial to her development. Today, at three years old, she
is able to walk and almost run due largely to their help.
