Therapy (both PT and OT) regardless of financial status.
These programs help these children maximize their ability
to function in day to day situations, directly affecting their
quality of life. Changing the financial eligibility requirements
for MTP will deny many disabled children with services
they require. Don't turn your back on disabled children.

adult because of all of the therapy we have provided for
him, which was almost all out of pocket and crazy
expensive. But I know so may others who are in serious
need. I have started a support group as a result of the
need for community and global awareness, and a place to
share our struggles and resources.
If not helped early, many of these kids will grow up to be
troubled adults filling our jails, hospitals, etc. Early
intervention is key. Pay now, or pay a lot more later! If our
children are our future, we need to help them to get there
and to be their best when they do get there! If we don't
help our children now, then they will wonder one day why
we told them that they were our future but were not worth
the investment to insure that they got there with all of the
best tools we could give them.
