Salinase, CA I not only have a special needs child, but I have a niece &
did home health care for another child (who has since
passed) who are both recipients of CCS services. In
addition, I, too, had CCS services as a child to help pay for
some of my surgical procedures. I have severe &, at one
point, life threatening Scoliosis). Had it not been for CCS,
there were surgeries required to save my life that I may not
have been able to have, &, in the case of my niece & the
child I cared for, services they need(ed) that would have to
be given up...& they are TRULY needed services! Don't
put parents in this predicament or make CCS clients
suffer...these parents & recepients are already paying an
unfair price in life, please don't make them pay another.

to so many young kids, i think it is a hudge attribute to the
state and something we need to not deminish time on and
make the kids of the future be affected buy the program
going away

specialized therapy services in order to improve or
maintain their functional abilities, obtain necessary medical
equipment needed for home or school, and have family
training/support to have as "normal" a childhood as
possible. The condition of a handicapping neuro or ms
disorder is stressful enough, don't cut the finances that
enable CCS to provide the basic services and support
these families need.

bucks later on. Without OT and PT especially, the state will
loose billions in medical costs. All the state's services are
interconnected. Woe to those leaders who cannot see this.
Take the money from some of your glitzy programs like
Arnie's 13 billion for experimental stem cell research.
