watched my aunt, a single mother, struggle with
government aide and programs being taken away because
of program budget cuts.I have seen how helpful these
prgrams can be and how necessary they are for children
with special needs in order to get ahead and improve many
skills they wouldn't otherwise be able to acquire without
paying insanely high therapy fees, which is not usually
financially possible for parents such as my aunt. It isn't fair
to our children.
