very unfair that you would cut services or force parents to
pay for a much needed service for their child, but the kids
whose parents are here illegally will receive the therapies
no problem, along with a bunch of other free things.
Meanwhile hard working middle class families forking out a
large amount of income don't feel like middle class any
longer. Pretty sad state we are in financially.

works, I work for IHSS; however, if it were not for CCS and
IHSS we would be in debt up to our ears. CCS has
provided my daughter with wonderful PT/OT services that
have enhanced her life, kept her healthy and out of the
hospital and educated us on these matters. In the private
medical world, it is impossible to find practioners who are
familiar with special needs children - we've tried to go
through our private insurance. We returned to CCS and
haven't left. Perhaps there is a way for private insurances
to help cover the costs of CCS - must it be an all or nothing
venture? Families need these services without incurring
financial hardship. There are so many costs associated
with a special needs child that your financial measures
need to be reworked.
