He has Muscular Dystrophy and the therapy he received helped not only him but his parents to learn what they could do to help prevent further complications. At that time they would have been over the cut-off for financial eligility, but they would have had to choose between health insurance for the family or services just for him. This is a terible place to put middle income families who are struggling finances. Families are currently being forced to decide between childcare, so they can both work, or health insurance. Don't add one more layer to these families. 5,372.
